Another rule is to remember your page is public to everyone.  So no negative stories about your colleagues or acquaintances, and no political or religious commentary.  Obviously, the US is a specially extreme case, since our government is shut down at the moment, but every situation has two sides, if not more.  Do not alienate readers by stating your case, even if it seems black and white to you.  Your platform exists to sell books, not to better the world with your advice.
